The bottle is labelled Cannabis Sativa not CBD. Is there CBD in the bottle?
Yes, we were required to label the bottle Cannabis Sativa as it is the scientific name for the Hemp plant. While we share the same name, we test to ensure we deliver all the benefits of hemp and CBD without any THC.
Is this a registered product with Health Canada?
Yes you can see this on Health Canada's website under list of notified products, which is how we encourage stores to verify that the hemp or CBD products they buy have this as it is a requirement. If a Hemp product is sold without this registration it is still subjected to the Cannabis Act.
Can stores advertise this product?
Yes, being this is a licensed product we would encourage stores to display advertisements.
What is the difference between extra strength and regular strength?
Extra strength is double the amount of beneficial hemp cannabinoids including cbd. Our dosing guide was approved based on the strength of the bottle and the weight of the pet.
What are the benefits to my pet taking this product?
Health Canada permitted us to use stress relief during travel, diet and weather changes that would include thunderstorms and loud noises. Help in supporting muscle and joint health, this would be in reference to ageing animals, arthritic conditions and tremors.
We have seen other successes with this medication such as epilepsy, allergies, general stress and anxiety, skin conditions such as demodex mange, cists, abrasions healing faster with balms in winter and as of late puppy strangles. All of these being amazing observations and we will pursue them need clinical trials to be able to make the claim on an advertisement.
A portion of proceeds will be given to charity - we are currently meeting with some great local causes such as Dogtails and police K9 units.
